How Nutricote® Works:
Each Nutricote® prill is a compound fertiliser containing every specified nutrient. As water vapour enters the fertiliser prill it dissolves some of the nutrients, and the resultant build-up in pressure causes nutrients to move out through microscopic pores within the coating.
Nutricote® is designed for nutrient release by temperature to keep the rate of release in tune with the plant growth. This harmony with the growing seasons changes the level of release as the temperatures warm in spring and cool in autumn.
Release is not influenced by:
> Soil moisture level
> pH level
> Organic materials in soil or soil type
> Micro-organisms in the soil
> Water quality - Irrigation or Rainfall
> Soil salinity (salt level)
